BOCES REQUIREMENTS
BOCES will enforce paperwork deadlines, so submit "additional fee" requests (late fees, for example) promptly or you won't get paid! The forms are available at the BOCES website (See "PROFESSIONAL LINKS", below).
Officials must keep their availability up to date with BOCES. Online officials need to update their availability on line, even if there is no change. To do this, log on to the BOCES website, click "Availability", and click "Update".
RECRUIT OFFICIALS
We are always in need of new officials. You can help in a couple of ways. At sporting events, be alert for opportunities to talk about becoming an official. (Sometimes parents, coaches, or players may express an interest). When you talk with friends, be sure to find out if they might be interested in becoming a sports official. If they would, give them contact information for your sports chair.

Our annual business meeting held was held yesterday (13 June, 2011). As promised, the ballots posted online and handed out yesterday yielded the following results:
Proposed Constitutional Ammendments:
Article III: Section I - Lifetime Membership APPROVED - 80.73%
Article IV: Section I - Officers - APPROVED - 90.65%
Article IV: Section IV - Elections - APPROVED 88.79%
Proposed By-Law Ammendments:
Sections 1 & 2 - Officers (in conjunction with proposed Constitutional change) APPROVED - 88.07%
Section 5 - Qualification for Active Membership - NOT APPROVED - 65.14%
